Hi I’m Sarah Griffith. I’m from Manheim and have spent many summer days at the Manheim pool. I swam on the Manheim Summer Swim Team, Five Star Swim Club, and Manheim Central High School swim team graduating in 2003. I went to Shippensburg University completing a degree in social work and finished graduate school at Millersville University. I live in Manheim with my husband, Josh and our three kids, Cael, Ellis, and Alina.
I’m excited for a fun summer coaching at a place that has given me many great childhood memories.
I grew up in Chicago, IL before moving to Lancaster, PA eleven years ago. I’m a recent college graduate from Washington College, receiving my B.S. in Neuroscience. I also swam at Washington College, finishing with 7 school records, and as an academic all-american in the 200 Backstroke. Before college, I swam for Five Star Swim Club and Manheim Township High School. I’ll be starting work as a neurophysiologist at Hershey Medical by the end of the summer.
I look forward to working with a younger generation of swimmers and making sure they have fun and enjoy their summer. Summer swimming is a time to bond with friends and build healthy habits, and I’m excited to be a part of it!
